  7. My husband and I agreed before we got married we would always spend the holidays together--we could visit family or friends before or after--but on THE DAY, it would be just us.

  8. My favorite part of the holiday season is being with family. My favorite event is our Christmas candlelight service at church. The entire service is sung, except for the reading of Jesus' birth.

  13. My favorite part has changed since my kids are grown. It used to be Chrismas Eve, when they were sound asleep and I could finally relax. Now, it is Christmas afternoon. I get to go to my grandson's house and play with all the toys my great grandson got for Christmas. We have a blast and my inner child cuts loose!

  14. My favorite part of the Holiday Season -- the Magic! Love the wonder of unconditional love, Santa & his beloved reindeer against the light of the winter moon, giving and appreciating everyone in a different better way. And this very very moment, my favorite part of the Holiday Season are your exquisite shimmering white beads, Sue! Wow, they are special!

    Happy Holidays,

  15. Beautiful Beads Sue! My favorite part is the decorating of the tree and telling of stories as we pull out each ornament (each one has a story - history). And with two little ones, we keep adding ornaments to their bags with dates written on them and a bit about the "story" behind them so when they have a tree of their own, they can have lots of ornaments with their history already tied to it. :)

  16. I have lots of favorite things the wrapping up warm to go out to the shops and the felling you get when you come home to a lovely warm house with twinkling lights on the tree and the well behaved children longing to open the pretty gifts under the tree!

  20. Waking up early on Christmas morning to snoop through my Christmas stocking with my mom... she's always the first up,and if you try to sleep longer then she's willing to wait, she sends the dogs in to wake you up ;)
