Happy La Fheile Padraig!

Or, in other words, Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Simply put, St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) is the celebration of the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick.  The day celebrates the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrating the heritage of Ireland.

Quickly, St. Patrick was kidnapped at 16, spent years working as a slave, and found God while a slave. He is credited with trying to convert pagans to Christianity in Ireland, and explained the Trinity with the three leaves of the Shamrock. It's the one day during the Lenten season that restrictions on eating and drinking are lifted.

As the color green is associated with St. Patrick's Day, I thought I'd highlight some pretties from the AJE team!

I hope you enjoyed the green, and maybe found something you need to have to celebrate Spring!  thanks for stopping by today!
