Making Wire and Bead Jewelry

Hi Everyone, this is Linda Larsen and this is my first blog for AJE---this is an energetic group of artists and I have to hustle to keep up with them!

Here is a book review of the latest book on my shelf...if you are anything like me you love your art books the most!  This new wire working book is by my two favorite wire workers--Tracy Stanley and Janice Berkebile.  I learned my wire working from Tracy and I use my skills every time I'm in my studio...

I like that the work is strong and the step by step photos really help you see how to do the basics and some of the great new techniques shown here.

Here is some eye candy from inside....

The book details exactly how to finish the wire and make the whole piece come together beautifully.  There are lots of great tips and photos.  I love the wrapped links in this necklace--and the Tahitian pearls!

If you would like, leave a comment to enter the giveaway of a copy of "Making Wire & Bead Jewelry"  generously donated by the publisher Lark Jewelry & Beading.
