I am new to the medium, but as I talked about in previous posts, love it and strive to find my voice with it!
These are all copper, using the same original carved stamping by me. The dots around certain designs are actually holes through the design, hard to see in the photo!

Dear Melissa, I love these metal clay components and would love the opportunity to design using one of them. Your original designs are great and I love how the copper looks. It's my favorite metal to work with so Having this chance would thrill me!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the copper clay. At this point, I am torching with butane and it takes forever. I have a ceramic kiln and have worked with clay for decades, but as you know, the ceramic kilns (with the sitter) will not hold a temperature. I haven't broken down and purchased one that will work with metal clay. I would love to create a combined jewelry piece with one of your copper clay components. They are great! I also have a clay blog; creativeclaycafe.com Thanks!
