Pantone Focus: Tender Shoots

I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of the Pantone Color of 2013, Emerald. I tend to like
a warmer, more vibrant green. So just call me a Tender Shoots gal.
I collected a few sample creations using variations of this lovely spring hue...

Enjoy!

  3. That is just the green I am seeing everywhere on trees rushing to leaf out as they are propelled into Spring by this heat wave we are having after a very cold and late lingering winter. Thank you so much for including my rosemary pendant with all these beautiful green shoots.

  6. I would have to say I am with ya on this tender shoots color, surprise there! I love my lime green! Thanks for featuring my coins! I think of that new pantone emerald as more like a teal and that makes me like it better :P In some places it looks more teal to me so we will go with that! He he.

  7. I'm with you all the way. Not fond of Emerald. But I use this one all the time. It's the one I use more and more lately. Pretty picks here!!!

  8. I have to agree on this one. Emerald green, while gorgeous, is not a springish color. You got it right with tender shoots. One of my fondest memories of childhood is fresh greens in the spring. My grand dad would go into the woods and hunt for fiddlehead ferns. They were this color and their tender shoots cooked up with a soup bone provided the first greens of the year. I do love all the components you found that echo the color of tender shoots.
