I have thought of covering the lights with tissue or tracing paper to reduce the glare and shadows, but I haven't tried it yet.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013223342802270728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-90356413791034706122015-11-30T08:22:36.324-05:002015-11-30T08:22:36.324-05:00I have been looking at Foldio too and was wonderin...I have been looking at Foldio too and was wondering if it will work for shooting mix media jewelry that has resin on it - which is quite difficult to photograph because of the light glare; particularly when the lights are aboveDivya Nhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17522282917004358863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-81961482193166500622015-11-07T20:42:18.393-05:002015-11-07T20:42:18.393-05:00I too have found more success with room lights off...I too have found more success with room lights off.
Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013223342802270728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-5638642638627562272015-11-07T10:53:26.952-05:002015-11-07T10:53:26.952-05:00I have the Foldio 1 and am interested that there i...I have the Foldio 1 and am interested that there is a larger version. The first version is very good for smaller pieces and beads, but it's often a bit small for longer necklaces. I've also found that lately I am getting some grainy pictures. It seems to help if I turn off other lights in the room and only have the Foldio lights on. I know next to nothing about photography, so I don't know why that would be, but thought I'd mention it in case it is helpful to someone. But because it has its own built in lights, it will never be too dark.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013223342802270728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-450862703927352292015-11-06T13:44:41.493-05:002015-11-06T13:44:41.493-05:00Great review Linda! It has worked best for me when there's been bright sunlight, but that's not always possible. I've not been happy with the light set up nor getting enough light inside to shine on my jewelry. I'm going to consider this next spring. Do you find it lets in more light than the E-Z cube?Honey from the Beehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01955079572505560557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-11665661834795574802015-11-06T12:17:25.725-05:002015-11-06T12:17:25.725-05:00That's an excellent idea, Linda! That's an excellent idea, Linda!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013223342802270728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-72552194931061144462015-11-06T08:38:54.725-05:002015-11-06T08:38:54.725-05:00How about making a hole in the top of the box to p...How about making a hole in the top of the box to put your camera lense through so that you are not obstructing the lights?

Linda xLinda - Earthshine.co.ukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04398902335499682563noreply@blogger.com
