I was a rock collector when I was a kid (although we never went anywhere for me to get them, I had to buy them) but I did collect shells as well from Florida, and they were great! I have some rocks I picked up in Greece that I treasure. My daughter collects rocks from our world travels and has them on top of her door frame with smiley faces drawn on them!SueBeadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11864619666721794935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-61895226655948257432012-05-22T19:25:19.530-04:002012-05-22T19:25:19.530-04:00Wow, those rocks are amazing. The ocean and lake pics were beautiful and it was fun seeing pics of you as a child. <br />I seem to be mostly inspired by the beads themselves--searching for unique color combinations and textures. But sometimes colors from other sources inspire me too. I once made a bracelet whose colors were based on a design on a couch pillow I saw in a magazine!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14013223342802270728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-77589373239029078382012-05-22T13:37:04.299-04:002012-05-22T13:37:04.299-04:00These are some sweet memories - and scenery! - tha...These are some sweet memories - and scenery! - that you have shared! It is apparent that your love of "rocks" has inspired you since "way back when". I live on a pretty large, wooded lot. I am inspired by the Japanese maple that grows outside my window. I swear, those leaves are a different color every single week - my favorite tree!Patti Vanderbloemenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14899971311953499881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7271508841165439447.post-62729343027763748392012-05-22T12:31:44.332-04:002012-05-22T12:31:44.332-04:00Wow, fantastic photography and gorgeous beads.Wow, fantastic photography and gorgeous beads.bo hulleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13365860506872880737noreply@blogger.com
